On Wednesday 15 June 2011, at Canberra Girls’ Grammar School, Deakin, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC visited Year 6 students and participated in a question and answer session.

Afterwards, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner for New Zealand, His Excellency Major General Martyn Dunne CNZM (Retd).

On Tuesday 14 June 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, received the President of the Australian Reproductive Health Alliance, Ms Susan Stratigos.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chief Executive Officer of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Healing Foundation, Mr Richard Weston, and the Program Director, Ms Lisa Hillan.

Later, at the University of Canberra, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the 2011 University of Canberra Adjuncts Function.

On Friday 10 June 2011, at Government House, Sydney, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, hosted the New South Wales Department of Education and Training’s School Leaders Program, at which the Administrator addressed school captains from 31 Government secondary schools.

On Thursday 9 June 2011, at Redfern Community Centre, Sydney, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, as guest of Gamarada Indigenous Healing and Life Training Limited, attended a Community Information Session.

Afterwards, at Mosman Preparatory School, Sydney, the Administrator opened new facilities.

On Tuesday 7 June 2011, at St James Church, Sydney, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, attended a Memorial Service for Dr George (Rowan) Nicks AO OBE.

Afterwards, at the Office of the Governor, Sydney, the Administrator received Professor Beverley Raphael, who stayed on for lunch.

On Sunday 5 June 2011, in Conzano, Italy, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE as guests of the Mayor of Conzano, Mr Emanuele Demaria, attended a community welcome function.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, accompanied by the Mayor of Conzano, unveiled a plaque in memory of Giuseppe Cantamessa who emigrated from Conzano to Ingham in 1907 and made a significant contribution to Australian society.
