Opening of the Science, Engineering and Architecture Building, Griffith University Gold Coast Campus.

On Friday 9 July 2010, at Griffith University, Gold Coast, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Chancellor, Ms Leneen Forde AC, attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General officially opened the Science, Engineering and Architecture building.

Afterwards, at The Emporium, Brisbane, the Governor-General received the Executive Director of Dads Appreciating Disabilities Queensland, Mr Lindsay Knorr, and the Coordinator of Dads Appreciating Disabilities Queensland, Mr Graham Mayer.

Federal Executive Council; Opening of the ???Brook Andrew: The Cell' exhibition

On Thursday 8 July 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Chief Executive Officer of BeyondWater, Ms Sharon Crean.

Later, the Governor-General received Chair of the Great Artesian Basin Coordinating Committee, Mr Jeff Austin, and South Australian community representative of the Great Artesian Basin Coordinating Committee, Mr Lynn Brake.

Lunch at The George Institute; Reception to launch the ???NOW + WHEN Australian Urbanism' exhibition.

On Wednesday 7 July 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received a farewell call from the Ambassador of Japan, His Excellency Mr Takaaki Kojima.

Afterwards, in Sydney, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Chairman, Dr John Yu AC, attended a lunch at The George Institute.

In the evening, at Admiralty House, Sydney, Mr Bryce hosted a reception for the Sydney launch of the Australian Institute of Architects’ 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale Exhibition ‘NOW + WHEN Australian Urbanism’.

National Reserve Forces Day parade; Reception for the 10th anniversary of Australia for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

On Sunday 4 July 2010, at the Domain, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron-in-Chief, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the National Reserve Forces Day parade, at which the Governor-General reviewed the parade, and Mr Bryce led the Air Force contingents.

Afterwards, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a reception to mark the 10th anniversary of Australia for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

The University of Queensland's Centenary Alumni Reunion Weekend

On Saturday 3 July 2010, at The University of Queensland, Brisbane, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General unveiled the badges of the Queensland University Regiment and Queensland University Squadron, as part of The University of Queensland’s Centenary Alumni Reunion Weekend celebrations.

Afterwards, Mr Bryce, as guest of honour, attended a lunch hosted by the President of the Queensland University Squadron, Mr Ted Vowles.

On Wednesday 30 June 2010, at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Lions Clubs International Convention, at which the Governor-General delivered the opening address.

Afterwards, at Holsworthy Barracks, Sydney, the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief of the Australian Defence Force, and Mr Bryce, attended the 6th Aviation Regiment Guidon Parade, at which the Governor-General presented the Regimental Guidon to the 6th Aviation Regiment.
