On Saturday 22 May 2010, at Balmain, NSW, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC attended a morning tea with Contact Incorporated Coordinator, Ms Sue Kingwill.
In the afternoon, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a children's writing workshop in support of the Sydney Writers' Festival.
On Friday 21 May 2010, at the Great Hall of The University of Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Faculty of Law graduation ceremony, at which the Governor-General was conferred with a Doctor of Laws (honoris causa).
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a morning tea for visiting Indian Police Service Officers. In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Patron of The Sax Institute, received Chief Executive Officer, Professor Sally Redman; Communications Director, Ms Debra Lee; and Honorary Professor of Education at the University of Sydney, Professor Rosalyn Arnold.
On Wednesday 19 May 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a reception for the National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre to commemorate their 15th anniversary.
On Tuesday 18 May 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received from His Excellency Mr Mahmoud Babaei, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Gholamali Rajabi Yazdi (Minister Counsellor), Mr Mohsen Rezaei (Counsellor) and Mr Homayun Bozorgnia (First Secretary), Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE also received Mrs Maryam Babaei.
On Monday 17 May 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Principal of Brisbane Girls Grammar School, Dr Amanda Bell.
Earlier, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE received Managing Director of Nikias Property Developers, Mr Dino Nikias and Mrs Dimitra Nikias. Earlier, the Governor-General was represented at Sydney International Airport at the arrival in Australia of the Governor-General of the Solomon Islands, His Excellency Mr Frank Ofagioro Kabui GCMG CSI OBE by Brigadier Bruce Cook ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
On Saturday 15 May 2010, at Milikapiti, Tiwi Islands, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE visited the Jilamara Arts and Craft Association.
On Friday 14 May 2010, at Halls Creek, Western Australia, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, visited the Halls Creek District School to view the Australian School of Performing Arts ???Girls from Oz' Program.
Afterwards, at the Halls Creek Council Chambers, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, attended a lunch hosted in their honour by the Halls Creek Shire President, Councillor Peter Tierney. Later, at Wagaman, Northern Territory, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a reception hosted by Somerville Community Services.
On Thursday 13 May 2010, in Timber Creek, Northern Territory, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Chief Executive Officer, Dr Garry Tester, visited the Timber Creek Remote School and viewed Sports Challenge Australia's Indigenous Sport and Mentor Program.
Afterwards, at Jasper Gorge, Gregory National Park, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Northern and Central Land Councils, attended a hand back ceremony. Later, in Kununurra, Western Australia, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce visited Kimberley Fine Diamonds.
