On Thursday 6 March 2008, at University House, Australian National University, Canberra, Their Excellencies the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery and Mrs Marlena Jeffery attended the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation International Leadership Alumni Conference, at which the Governor-General delivered the opening address.
