The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Jorgen Mollegaard (Consul-General) and Mrs Helle Myrthue (Consul), Royal Danish Consulate-General, Sydney. The Governor-General and Mrs Jeffery also received Mr Tony Shine.

On Wednesday, 15 August 2007, at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Campbell ACT, Their Excellencies, the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC and Mrs Marlena Jeffery attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General launched the book by Dr Craig Stockings, The Torch and the Sword: A History of the Army Cadet Movement in Australia 1866-2006.

On Tuesday, 14 August 2007, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC received the Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, the Honourable Mal Brough MP.

On Monday 13 August 2007 at Keswick Barracks, South Australia, Their Excellencies the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC and Mrs Marlena Jeffery, as guests of honour of the President of Royal United Services Institute (South Australia), Colonel David Stoba RFD ED (Retd), attended the RUSI (SA) Monthly Luncheon, at which the Governor-General, as the National Patron, delivered the keynote address.

On Sunday 12 August 2007 at Keswick Barracks, South Australia, Their Excellencies the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC and Mrs Marlena Jeffery, attended the 2007 Reserve Forces Day Parade (South Australia), at which the Governor-General, as Patron-in-Chief, reviewed the parade and delivered an address.

In the evening at St Mark's College, Adelaide, the Governor-General and Mrs Jeffery, as guests of honour, attended the St Mark's College Club Dinner, at which the Governor-General delivered an address.

On Friday 10 August 2007, in Adelaide, South Australia, Their Excellencies, the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC, and Mrs Marlena Jeffery, attended the 36th Annual Federal Conference of the Isolated Children's Parents' Association of Australia, at which the Governor-General delivered the keynote address.

On Thursday, 9 August 2007, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

On Tuesday 7 August 2007 at Government House Canberra, Their Excellencies the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC, and Mrs Marlena Jeffery hosted a morning tea for Group Training Australia, at which the Governor-General as Patron officially launched the 2007 program Today's Skills: Tomorrow's Leaders.
