On Sunday 21 July 2013, at Government House, Canberra, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron, hosted a musical afternoon for the Klavier Music Association.

Afterwards, at Canberra Stadium, Mr Bryce, as Patron and guest of the Brumbies Chief Executive Officer, Mr Andrew Fagan, attended the Brumbies versus Cheetahs Super Rugby Finals match.

Visit to Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School; Official opening of the Griffith Health Centre

On Friday 19 July 2013, in Melbourne, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received correspondent, Ms Carol Stals.

Afterwards, at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, Keilor East, the Governor-General, as guest of the Principal, Mr Tony Larkin, met with student leaders.

Later, at Griffith University, Gold Coast, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Chancellor, Ms Leneen Forde AC, attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General officially opened the Griffith Health Centre.

On Thursday 18 July 2013, at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, Keilor East, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the Principal, Mr Tony Larkin, met with student leaders.

Afterwards, at Griffith University, Gold Coast, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Chancellor, Ms Leneen Forde AC, attended the opening of the Griffith Health Centre, where the Governor-General addressed the audience and officially opened the centre.

Presentation of the inaugural Lambis Englezos Scholarship; Visit to the Ardoch Youth Foundation

On Wednesday 17 July 2013, at Melbourne High School, South Yarra, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Principal, Mr Jeremy Ludowyke, attended an assembly at which the Governor-General presented the inaugural Lambis Englezos Scholarship to Year 12 student, Mr Aaron Zee.

Launch of ‘Eilean Giblin: A Feminist Between the Wars’

On Monday 15 July 2013, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO received Australian writer, Ms Brenda Stevens-Chambers, and was presented with a copy of the book, ‘Honkie and Ginny.’

Afterwards, at the National Library of Australia, the Governor-General, as guest of the Director-General, Ms Anne-Marie Schwirtlich, officially launched Dr Patricia Clarke’s book, ‘Eilean Giblin: A Feminist Between the Wars.’
