On Monday 13 December 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Ambassador-Designate to the Federated States of Micronesia, Mr Martin Quinn.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner-Designate to the Republic of Vanuatu, Mr Jeff Roach.

Later, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-Designate to the Republic of Turkey, Mr Ian Biggs.

Then, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a reception for the Rhodes Australia-At-Large finalists.

Special Envoy of the Emir of the State of Kuwait; University of Canberra dinner

On Thursday 9 December 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Special Envoy of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Mr Khalid Yousef Al-Falaij.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner-Designate to the Kingdom of Tonga, Mr Thomas Roth.

Later, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-Designate to the Federative Republic of Brazil, Mr Brett Hackett.

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, received the Founding Director of Yalari, Mr Waverley Stanley.

On Wednesday 8 December 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, at the Allens Arthur Robinson offices, Melbourne, the Governor-General, as guest speaker, attended a lunch hosted by McCarthy Mentoring and Allens Arthur Robinson.

Graduation Parade of the Royal Military College of Australia, Duntroon; Black Mountain School

On Tuesday 7 December 2010, at the Royal Military College of Australia, Duntroon, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the 2010 General Service Officers Graduation Parade, at which the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief, reviewed the parade and presented the Sword of Honour and the Queen’s Medal, and afterwards presented Commissions and Graduation Certificates to the graduands.

Afterwards, at O’Connor, Canberra, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Principal, Mr Frank Fogliati, visited Black Mountain School.
