On Friday 1 October 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Director of Acumen Owners Corporation Management, Ms Trish Blackman, and Ms Helen Bondaruk.
On Thursday 30 September 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received from His Excellency Mr Damir Arnaut, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE also received Mrs Sanja Bagaric-Arnaut.
On Wednesday 29 September 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
In the afternoon, at the National Police Memorial, Kings Park, Canberra, the Governor-General as patron of the memorial, attended the National Police Remembrance Day Memorial Service, at which the Governor-General laid a wreath.
On Tuesday 28 September 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, received a farewell call from the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Mr Ernesto Hernandez De Leon.
Later, at Parliament House, Canberra, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the First Session of the Forty-Third Commonwealth Parliament, at which the Governor-General addressed the parliament.
Afterwards, at the Royal Canberra Golf Club, Yarralumla, Mr Bryce addressed the ACT Branch of the Order of Australia Association.
On Thursday 23 September 2010, at the Canberra Institute of Technology, Reid, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron, attended the Defence Force Widows’ Support Group annual lunch.
Afterwards, at the Gallery of Australian Design, Barton, Mr Bryce, as Patron, attended a reception hosted by the Governing Council of the Gallery of Australian Design.
On Wednesday 22 September 2010, at Government House, Canberra, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron, received the National President of the Defence Force Welfare Association, Mr David Jamieson, and the Executive Director, Mr Les Bienkiewicz.
On Tuesday 21 September 2010, at RAAF Wagga, NSW, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Commander-in-Chief, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Commanding Officer, Captain Robert Rogers CSM, toured RAAF Wagga and had lunch with airmen and women from Number 1 Recruit Training Unit.
Afterwards, at Henty, NSW, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Chairman, Mr Doug Meyer OAM, attended the 2010 Henty Machinery Field Days at which the Governor-General delivered the opening address.

On Sunday 19 September 2010, at St Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Primate of the Anglican Church of Australia, the Most Reverend Dr Phillip Aspinall, attended the Opening Eucharist of the General Synod.
