The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Hamed Al-Hajri (Consul-General) from the Consulate-General of the Sultanate of Oman in Melbourne.

On Tuesday 21 April 2009 at Warrnambool, Victoria, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General officially opened the Brophy ???Family and Youth' Services Complex.
