On Tuesday 10 February 2009, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received from His Excellency Mr Mohamed Mael-Ainin, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Abdelkader Allouch (Minister Counsellor); Mr El Habib Bourane (Counsellor); and Mr Mohamed Bendemra (Attach?”, Administration and Finance) Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco. The Governor-General also received Mrs Samira Affane Aji.

On Monday 9 February 2009, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a reception for the National Breast Cancer Foundation at which the Governor-General presented the 2008 Patron's Awards.

On Sunday 8 February 2009, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC was represented at the transit through Australia of the President of the Republic of Kiribati His Excellency the Honourable Anote Tong, by Colonel Michael Miller RFD ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

On Friday 6 February 2009, at Customs House, Brisbane, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended a luncheon at which the Governor-General, as the 2008 University of Queensland Alumnus of the Year, delivered the keynote address.

In the evening, at the University of Queensland Art Gallery, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Chancellor, the Honourable Sir Llew Edwards AC, attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General officially opened the Margaret Olley: Life's Journey exhibition.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron of Assistance Dogs Australia, received the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Richard Lord, accompanied by Ms Tanya Clarke. In the afternoon, the Governor-General received a farewell call by the High Commissioner for the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Mr Elly Elikunda Elineema Mtango and Mrs Flora Mtango. Earlier, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE received the Chief Executive Officer, National Health and Medical Research Council, Professor Warwick Anderson AM.

On Wednesday 4 February 2009, at the Australian Maritime College, Launceston, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Principal, Professor Malek Pourzanjani, toured the facilities and received a briefing on Australia's National Centre for Maritime Training, Education, Research and Development.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a Civic Reception hosted in their honour by the Mayor of Launceston, Mayor Albert van Zetten.

On Tuesday 3 February 2009, at the Female Factory Historic Site, Hobart, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Chairman, the Honourable Peter Rae AO, toured the site and attended a tree planting ceremony in the Memorial Garden.

Earlier, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Marcus Stephen MP, by Group Captain Robert Lawson ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

On Wednesday 28 January 2009, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC was represented at the arrival in Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Marcus Stephen MP, by Colonel David O'Hagan RFD ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
