On Friday 17 November 2017, at the Parramatta Mission, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove as guests of the Senior Minister and Chief Executive Officer, Reverend Keith Hamilton, visited the Mission and met with staff and volunteers.
In the afternoon, at Darcy Street, Parramatta, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove as guests of the Founder of the Darcy Street Project, Mr John Cafferatta met with staff and trainees.
On Thursday 16 November 2017, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
Afterwards, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Pablo Guzman Laugier, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
Later, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mathias Chikawe, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the High Commissioner for the United Republic of Tanzania.
On Wednesday 15 November 2017, at Self Advocacy Sydney Inc., Blacktown, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of the CEO, Mr Arthur Bozikas OAM, viewed the facilities and met with staff and volunteers.
In the afternoon, in Bankstown, the Governor-General, as guest of Dr Vinh Binh Lieu OAM, viewed his medical practice and met with staff.

Afterwards, at Keswick Barracks, Adelaide, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President of the 9th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment (9 RAR) Association, Mr Doug McGrath, attended the 9 RAR 50th Anniversary Remembrance Service.
On Monday 13 November 2017, at Parliament House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General administered the Oaths and Affirmations of Allegiance to Senators Fraser Anning, Andrew Bartlett and Jordan Steele-John.

On Sunday 12 November 2017, at Kangaroo Island Health Service and Aged Care Facility, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of the Executive Officer and Director of Nursing, Mr Nigel Jefford, viewed the facilities and met with staff and residents.
Afterwards, at the Kingcote Men’s Shed, the Governor-General, as guest of the Vice Chairman, Mr Graeme Olsen, viewed the facilities and met with members of the shed.
On Saturday 11 November 2017, at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Commander-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Director of the Australian War Memorial, Dr Brendan Nelson AO, attended the Remembrance Day National Ceremony.
In the afternoon, at Kangaroo Island Airport, the Governor-General was welcomed to Kangaroo Island by the Mayor of the Kangaroo Island Council, Councillor Peter Clements, and CEO, Mr Andrew Boardman.
