On Wednesday 2 December 2015, at the Ben Chifley Building, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of the Director-General of Security, Mr Duncan Lewis AO DSC CSC, visited the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, at which he viewed facilities and met with staff.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Darko Uskokovic, Letters of Credentials accrediting him as the Ambassador of Montenegro.

At the Ben Chifley Building, Canberra, the Governor-General, as guest of the Director-General of Security, Mr Duncan Lewis AO DSC CSC, visited the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, at which he viewed facilities and met with staff.

At the National Museum of Australia, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove as guests of the Chair of the Council, Mr David Jones, opened the ‘Encounters’ and ‘Unsettled’ exhibitions.

On Tuesday 1 December 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for the 2015 Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Graduates and Indigenous Australian Government Development Program Trainees.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Ambassador to Timor-Leste, Mr Peter Doyle.

On Monday 30 November 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, His Excellency Mr Mouayed Saleh.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a lunch for the European Union Heads of Mission of the Canberra Diplomatic Corps.

Later, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Poland, Mr Paul Wojciechowski.

The Governor-General, as Patron, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the New Colombo Plan 2016 Scholarships Presentation dinner at the National Gallery of Australia.

On Sunday 29 November 2015, at Government House, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove hosted a dinner for the 2015 Rhodes Australia-at-Large candidates.

On Saturday 28 November 2015, at Rosebery, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Captain, Mr Stuart Cox, attended the Championship buffet lunch at the Australian Golf Club, at which the Governor-General viewed the Emirates Australian Open.

On Friday 27 November 2015, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for delegates of the 2015 Australia-China High-Level Dialogue.

Afterwards, at Mosman, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Acting-Principal, Mrs Carole Jaye, visited Middle Harbour Public School, at which the Governor-General delivered an address on leadership.
