On Monday 7 December 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received from His Excellency Mr Mykola Kulinich, Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador of the Ukraine. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Mykola Dzhydzhora (First Secretary). The Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove also received Mrs Olena Kulinich.

At Government House, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for ADFA and RMC-D graduands and the Spitfire Association, at which the Governor-General presented the 2016 Spitfire Memorial Defence Fellowship.

On Saturday 5 December 2015, at The Great Synagogue, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President, The Great Synagogue, the Honourable Justice Stephen Rothman AM, attended a Shacharit worship service.

On Friday 4 December 2015, at Fleet Base East, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Commander-in-Chief and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Commander Australian Fleet, RADM Stuart Mayer CSC and Bar RAN, attended the HMAS Adelaide Commissioning ceremony and reception.

On Wednesday 2 December 2015, at the Ben Chifley Building, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of the Director-General of Security, Mr Duncan Lewis AO DSC CSC, visited the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, at which he viewed facilities and met with staff.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Darko Uskokovic, Letters of Credentials accrediting him as the Ambassador of Montenegro.
