2015 RMC-D graduation parade and commissioning ceremony

On Tuesday 8 December 2015, at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Commander-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the 2015 General Service Officer graduation parade and commissioning ceremony, at which the Governor-General inspected the Corps of Staff Cadets, delivered an address and presented commissions to new Officers.

On Monday 7 December 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received from His Excellency Mr Mykola Kulinich, Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador of the Ukraine. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Mykola Dzhydzhora (First Secretary). The Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove also received Mrs Olena Kulinich.

Federal Executive Council; Children’s Sports Fun Day

On Thursday 3 December 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Secretary of the Department of Education and Training, Ms Lisa Paul AO PSM.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a Christmas Sports Fun Day for students of Primary Schools in the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding region.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Dr Martin Parkinson PSM.

ASIO visit; Non-resident Credentials; Lunch; National Museum of Australia exhibition opening

On Wednesday 2 December 2015, at the Ben Chifley Building, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of the Director-General of Security, Mr Duncan Lewis AO DSC CSC, visited the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, at which he viewed facilities and met with staff.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Darko Uskokovic, Letters of Credentials accrediting him as the Ambassador of Montenegro.
