On Tuesday 11 June 2013, at Buckingham Palace, London, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE were received by Her Majesty The Queen.
At the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, as Patron, was the Guest of Honour at The Black and White Committee’s 28th ‘Women of Achievement’ luncheon, in support of Vision Australia.
In London, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce met Australian students studying at the Royal College of Music.

On Sunday 9 June 2013, at Farnborough Airport, United Kingdom, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, were welcomed by the High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency the Honourable Mike Rann CNZM.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attend a briefing by the High Commissioner, and Deputy High Commissioner, Mr Andrew Todd.
On Saturday 8 June 2013, at Dendy Opera Quays, Sydney, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, attended the screening of William Yang: My Generation, as part of the Sydney Film Festival. This was followed by a post-screening reception and forum hosted by ABC Arts at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.
The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce met with the Federal President of the Republic of Austria, His Excellency Dr Heinz Fischer at the Hofburg Palace, Vienna.
At the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, the Governor-General, Mr Michael Bryce and members of the European Australian Business Council attended a discussion on economic developments and opportunities in Austria and Australia with senior business leaders.
Later, Ms Bryce and EABC members attended a discussion on global financial and Eurozone developments at the Austrian National Bank in Vienna.
The Governor-General and members of the European Australian Business Council attended a briefing on recent oil market developments and the long term outlook of market stability and energy security at the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries Headquarters in Vienna.
