The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce hosted a lunch for members of the European Australian Business Council at Government House, Canberra.
On Tuesday 14 May 2013, at the Cootes Access Centre, Glenroi, New South Wales, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the CareWest Community Engagement Manager, Ms Lesa Dunn, visited the Grasshoppers Playgroup and in recognition of the International Day of Families on 15 May, met with families and children.
Afterwards, in Bathurst, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Dean’s Warden, Diocese of Bathurst, Ms Sue West, visited the All Saints Cathedral.
The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce met families and children at the Grasshoppers Playgroup in Orange during a visit marking National Families Week.
Beginning a regional visit to Bathurst and as guests of the Chair of the Bathurst Local Aboriginal Land Council, Ms Shirley Scott, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce viewed the rejuvenation works project at the Wahluu Gammara Reserve.

The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce were driven on a lap of Mount Panorama in historic race cars during a visit to the National Motor Racing Museum.
Afterwards, at Charles Sturt University, Ms Bryce and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andrew Vann, met with undergraduate students and viewed the Dental and Oral Health Clinic before attending a lunch hosted in their honour.
At the Towri Multi-functional Aboriginal Child Care Service in Bathurst, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce, as guests of the Director, Ms Dianne Frazer, viewed the centre and met with staff and children.
Afterwards, the Ms Bryce and Mr Bryce visited the Carenne School and viewed the facilities and met with staff and students.

The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce attended a Civic Reception in recognition of National Families Week at the Pit Complex, Mount Panorama, in Bathurst.
Later, in Keppel Street, Ms Bryce and Mr Bryce met with local small business owners and community members.
In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a business networking function at Charles Sturt University as guests of the President of the Bathurst Business Chamber, Mr Angus Edwards.
On Monday 13 May 2013, at Orange Regional Airport, New South Wales, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, were welcomed by the Mayor of Orange City Council, Councillor John Davis.
Afterwards, at Yarrawong Place, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Manager, Ms Robyn Brice, viewed the Orange and District Early Education Program and then, in recognition of National Volunteer Week, presented certificates to four volunteers who have provided 10 years support to the service.
