On Wednesday 13 April 2016, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) received from His Excellency Dr Hussain Al-Ameri, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Mohammed Alaubidy (First Secretary), Mr Ammar Fadhil (Second Secretary) and Ms Rasha Albasri (Manager Administration).

On Thursday 7 April 2016, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) received from His Excellency Mr Stefan Skjaldarson, Letters of Credentials accrediting him as the Ambassador of Iceland.
