On Tuesday 30 June 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) received the Chairman, Council for the Order of Australia, Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK AFC (Retd) and the Chief Executive Officer, Aspen Medical, Mr Bruce Armstrong.

Opening of Waratah-Mayfield Multicultural Men’s Shed; Opening of Singleton Men’s Shed; 2015 Wilson Security Black Diamond Cup AFL match; Newcastle Club President’s Dinner

On Saturday 27 June 2015, at Waratah-Mayfield, Newcastle, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Patron of the Australian Men’s Shed Association, and Lady Cosgrove, opened the Waratah-Mayfield Multicultural Men’s Shed.

Afterwards, at Singleton, the Governor-General, as Patron of the Australian Men’s Shed Association, and Lady Cosgrove opened the Singleton Men’s Shed.

Open Gardens Australia morning tea; The Boys’ Brigade afternoon tea; Call by Chief of Air Force

On Friday 26 June 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove hosted a morning tea for Open Gardens Australia.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted an afternoon tea for the Boys’ Brigade at which the Governor-General presented the Queen’s Badge to Mr Isaak Stewart, Mr William Yeo and Mr Joshua James Morris.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Geoff Brown AO.

Federal Executive Council; KidsGive #That’sNotFair launch; Investiture Ceremony; Federal Agency Portfolio Secretaries dinner

On Thursday 25 June 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, at Parliament House, the Governor-General as Patron of SchoolAid, and Lady Cosgrove attended the launch of KidsGive #That’sNotFair campaign.

Later, at Government House, the Governor-General as Commander-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove hosted a Meritorious Unit Citation Investiture Ceremony for Task Force 66 and 1st Joint Movement Group.

Credentials ceremonies; Prime Minister’s 2015 Magna Carta Lecture

On Wednesday 24 June 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received from His Excellency Mr Yogesh Punja, Letters of Commission accrediting him as the High Commissioner for the Republic of Fiji. The High Commissioner was accompanied by Mr Deemant Lodhia (First Secretary) and Mr Jonetani Tagivetaua (Second Secretary). The Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove also received Mrs Adi Melika Punja.
